Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Chakkr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chakkr.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Chakkr provides an AI-powered quoting tool that allows service businesses and freelancers to generate professional quotes by describing a job in natural language. Features include PDF generation, quote sending via email and WhatsApp, Stripe deposit collection, and quote analytics.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not create an account if you are under 16 years of age. You may not use another person's account without their permission.

Chakkr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or illegal quotes
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its AI outputs for competitive purposes
• Use automated bots to consume the API beyond normal usage patterns
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content intended to disrupt the Service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Chakkr offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing you authorize Chakkr to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Free plan. Includes 3 AI quotes per month. No credit card required.

Pro plan ($19/mo). Includes 30 quotes per month, branding features, email and WhatsApp sending, and 5 quote templates. Includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.

Premium plan ($29/mo). Includes unlimited quotes, shareable client links, online acceptance, analytics, and priority support. Includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.

Annual billing. A 20% discount applies to annual plans. Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months.

Refunds. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. For annual subscriptions, we do not offer partial-year refunds after the trial period ends.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Chakkr's IP. All software, design, trademarks, and content comprising the Chakkr Service are owned by Chakkr or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our Service.

Your content. You retain ownership of the job descriptions you enter and the quote content generated for you. By using the Service, you grant Chakkr a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

AI-generated output. Quotes generated by Chakkr are provided as tools to assist your business. You are solely responsible for reviewing the accuracy of AI-generated content before sending it to clients.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated quote content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. Quote pricing and line items generated by AI should be reviewed before use.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHAKKR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CHAKKR IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chakkr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), and Supabase (database). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Chakkr is not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, and you waive any right to a jury trial.
